A respected specialty clinic is conducting a confidential search for a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is key to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate scheduling, billing, and compliance with healthcare standards.
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and courtesy.
Verify insurance, collect co-pays/balances, and process referrals or authorizations.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using EMR systems.
Answer and route phone calls promptly and accurately.
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Coordinate with providers, nurses, and medical assistants to support clinic workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and clinic confidentiality standards.
High school diploma or GED.
Previous medical receptionist or healthcare office experience preferred.
MediClear Certification (or equivalent healthcare compliance credential) required.
Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong customer service, multitasking, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and dependable team player.
Hourly pay $18 – $24with opportunities for growth.
