Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. This role is essential for managing the financial operations of the organization, including overseeing month-end processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate reporting. Responsibilities: - Lead month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate completion. - Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. - Develop and manage financial reporting processes to support organizational goals. - Oversee budgeting and forecasting to align with strategic objectives. - Allocate expenses across departments to maintain balanced financial records. - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards. - Support audits and provide documentation as required. - Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. - Proven experience with financial reporting and internal controls. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
