Basketball Lead Coach

End Date: June 1, 2026

Compensation: $40 per hour

Number of Openings: 3

Age Group: Boys, Grades 2 and up

Position Overview

Rosow Elite Performance (REP) is seeking Basketball Lead Coaches to lead structured, high-level basketball training sessions for youth athletes. This role is ideal for a serious, organized coach who can command a group, deliver well-prepared workouts, and operate with professionalism in a fast-paced training environment.

Coaches will work with boys in 2nd grade and above , focusing on skill development, discipline, and competitive growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run organized basketball training sessions
• Plan and execute age-appropriate, high-quality workouts
• Maintain strong group control and a professional training environment
• Develop players’ fundamentals, confidence, and competitive habits
• Collaborate effectively with other REP coaches and staff
• Communicate promptly and professionally with REP leadership
• Represent Rosow Elite Performance with professionalism at all times

Schedule & Locations

Coaches may be assigned to one or more of the following sessions based on availability:

• Fridays | 1:00–3:40 PM
• Arrival: 12:30 PM
• Location: 1202 Avenue P, Brooklyn, NY
• Fridays | 2:05–4:45 PM
• Arrival: 1:45 PM
• Location: 1680 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
• Saturdays | 6:30–9:30 PM
• Location: Madison High School
• Sundays | 5:00–7:30 PM
• Location: Madison High School

Qualifications

• Basketball coaching and/or high-level playing experience required
• Ability to command and manage groups of youth athletes
• Strong preparation, organization, and leadership skills
• Professional communication and reliability are essential
• Experience working with youth athletes (Grades 2+) preferred
