Shipping/Slitting Operator Join Our Team as a Shipping/Slitting Operator *** Part Time: 1:00pm - 5:00pm ***As a Shipping/Slitting Operator, you’ll play a vital role in converting printed pages into finished business cards and preparing them for accurate and timely shipment. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical skill, and reliability to ensure every order meets quality standards and customer expectations. Your Impact as a Shipping/Slitting Operator * Operate all slitter machines to convert printed materials into finished business cards. * Package completed cards into appropriate shipping boxes. * Perform product finishing tasks, including UV coating, cornering, hole drilling, and folding. * Inspect orders during processing and before shipment to ensure accuracy and quality. * Enter shipment information into the computer system and print shipping labels. * Prepare and organize orders for shipment or customer pickup. * Bin and manage multi-shipment package orders efficiently. * Handle on-hold orders according to company policies. * Perform daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance of slitter equipment. * Assist with press operations as needed (cross-training provided). * Complete end-of-day procedures on shipping terminals. * Perform final inspections on all outbound products. * Maintain safety and awareness throughout your workday to ensure a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment. * Support team goals and assist with other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements * Stand for extended periods at a workstation. * Move between workstations and presses throughout the day. * Regularly lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. * Read and interpret information on a computer screen. Attendance Policy Consistent and punctual attendance is required. Repeated absences or tardiness may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Please note this position is part time from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
