Rolling Hills Hospital is hiring a Outpatient Admissions Counselor to join the Outpatient Services team. The Outpatient Admissions Counselor is responsible for the timely processing of walk-in/scheduled clinical assessment for those who have self-identified as desiring OP services at RHH. The admissions counselor is responsible for ensuring the referrals to the facility are referred to the most appropriate level of care. The admissions counselor provides appropriate crisis intervention as necessary by anticipating and responding to escalating behaviors by maintaining focused attention to patient safety.
Experience:
· Experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results; experience in acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric setting; Strong assessment skills required; excellent telephone etiquette and tact; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes; effective oral and written communication skills; basic data entry skills preferred; organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management skills necessary; flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stress necessary.

QualificationsEducation:
· Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health related field (e.g. Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology) required
