Optometrist

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist in Panama City, FL. This is a chance to serve the community in a patient-focused environment while working in a supportive, collaborative healthcare setting along Florida’s stunning Emerald Coast.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: Up to $190,000 (based on experience)

• Clinic & Technology:
  • Exam lanes/rooms: 2 rooms
  • Daily volume: 25 patients per day on average
  • Retina imaging: OCT available
  • EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • E-prescribing: everything is electronic; no paper scripts
  • Sinks in exam rooms: none

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and refractions
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy)
• Prescribe corrective lenses and develop treatment plans
• Educate patients on eye health and preventive care
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical guidelines

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
• Active Florida optometry license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong clinical skills in primary eye care and disease management
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Comfortable working independently and within a team-based model
