**Job Title: Mechanical Electrical Technician** **Job Description** This role requires hands-on mechanical support for the operation, repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and systems, including processes. The position is crucial for equipment and system troubleshooting, installation, debugging, and commissioning in a manufacturing setting. Additionally, it serves as the technical resource for all manufacturing equipment. **Responsibilities** + Read, follow, and interpret all types of electrical and piping schematics, as well as blueprints and illustrated parts breakdowns. + Develop layouts, cost estimates, and schedules for installations and operations of new equipment, as well as repair of existing plant equipment. + Update mechanical blueprints and lists as needed to maintain, rebuild, install, or revise any required equipment. + Repair and rebuild at least six primary pieces of equipment throughout the plant. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Maintenance technician experience + Hydraulics + Repair + Preventive maintenance + Industrial mechanical electrical knowledge + Wiring + Hand tool proficiency + Electronics + Blueprint reading + Installation and fabrication + Preventative maintenance + Electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting + PLC troubleshooting and control + 3-phase electrical troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or GED required + 5 years of experience in mechanical manufacturing support for high-speed process/packaging equipment + Driver's license + Basic knowledge of electrical controls and PLCs + Proficiency in at least four of the following: welding, machining, pipe fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, or HVAC + Experience with motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electric motor clutches, and brakes **Why Work Here?** Enjoy free admission to the Crayola Experience for employees, engage in community volunteerism, and benefit from an annual bonus potential for full-time employees. Facilities include lockers and a cafeteria for employee convenience. The work environment is temperature-controlled, ensuring comfort throughout shifts. The position involves working 12-hour shifts from 6 pm to 6 am on a 2-2-3 schedule, with no more than three consecutive shifts without at least two days off. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Easton, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
