Job Description

Overview: Responsible for system oversight (hospital-based and ambulatory) of organizational patient and family experience initiatives, implementation of standard work and strategies to enhance patient and family engagement, and to promote the principles of patient and family-centered care (PFCC: Dignity and Respect, Information Sharing, Participation, and Collaboration). The role will support and facilitate strategies to ensure progress towards organizational patient and family experience and engagement goals and results. Knowledgeable regarding concepts of patient and family experience, CAHPS methodology, and patient experience survey metrics; analytical skills related to interpreting and analyzing patient and family experience data, and ability to implement best practices into clinical settings. Able to successfully incorporate WakeMed's mission, vision, and values into the delivery of care. Additionally, translating and implementing concepts of service excellence strategies and patient and family engagement tactics into actionable behaviors and outcomes will be a key focus of this role.
