Christian Servants Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves providing direct support and assistance in daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in a group home or community setting.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:30p-6:30p. Schedule is flexible if cannot do every day during the week!! You choose the days!!

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Ensure the safety and security of clients by monitoring their well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and care provided.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.

Experience

• Previous experience in home community care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Experience in a group home setting or direct support roles is beneficial.
• Ability to develop and follow care plans effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy are essential for success in this role.

Experience:

• Caregiving: 2 years (Required)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
• Working with people with developmental disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
