This is a remote position.
FS Group is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Typist to support our documentation and operations teams. In this role, you’ll convert, format, and enter data from paper or digital sources into our company systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. Your work will help maintain clean records that support field operations, customer service, compliance, and internal reporting.
Enter text, numerical, and other data (equipment, service requests, field reports, etc.) into internal databases and systems.
Transcribe data from forms, manuals, written reports, or field technician notes.
Review source materials for completeness and clarity; seek clarification when needed.
Proofread and correct errors in data (typos, formatting issues, missing fields) to ensure high accuracy.
Maintain and update electronic filing systems; organize physical documents when required.
Generate periodic reports or summaries of entered data for management or operations teams.
Assist with preparing documentation for audits or compliance checks.
Meet productivity and accuracy targets set by the team lead or manager.
Follow data security and confidentiality policies (especially if handling any sensitive or proprietary data).
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in office admin, data processing, or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in data entry, typing, or document transcription preferred.
Strong typing skills with excellent speed and accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with database entry systems.
Good attention to detail and ability to spot and correct errors.
Ability to handle routine and repetitive tasks while maintaining focus.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic organizational skills and ability to manage priorities under supervision.
