Description Robert Half's Legal Practice is looking for a skilled Legal Assistant to join a high performing Corporate Practice at a top law firm in Edina, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to Corporate Attorneys and Corporate deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities: - Draft and prepare legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. - Organize and maintain multiple calendars and schedules to ensure efficient time management. - Coordinate and prepare materials required for legal team meetings and client interactions. - Review, sort, and distribute both electronic and physical mail to appropriate recipients. - Manage and maintain legal files, both in hard copy and within the firm's document management system. - Perform general administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, and processing timesheets and expense reports. - Assist with entity formation tasks and related legal documentation as needed. Requirements - 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant. Corporate legal assistant experience preferred. - Proficiency in managing calendars and legal document drafting. - Strong familiarity with document management systems and legal office procedures. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - High level of attention to detail and organizational skills. - Eagerness to learn and take on additional responsibilities, including paralegal tasks. - Comfort and proficiency with technology, including common office software.
