General Summary:

• Serves as an advanced pharmacist practitioner engaged in providing pharmaceutical care
• Regularly monitors patient‑specific therapies and collaborates with other health care team members.
• Participates in quality‑assurance activities, represents department on hospital‑wide committees, and serves as a resource for other health care practitioners.
• Ensure safe and accurate dosing, preparation and handling of chemotherapy
• Actively participates as a preceptor for the residency program and for students, when appropriate
• Primarily serves as the Oncology Clinical Pharmacist, however, is available to help Central Pharmacy functions if needed
• This position reports directly to the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Manager

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from accredited school; PharmD preferred.
• PGY‑1 from an ASHP‑accredited program is required
• PGY‑2 from an ASHP‑accredited program preferred and/or 3‑5 years of relevant clinical experience
• Current Maryland Pharmacist license required.

Shift:

Full‑Time (40 hours per week), Rotating shifts including weekends & holidays.

Salary Range:

Minimum 56.57/hour - Maximum 93.30/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
