Position Summary This position will serve as an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator within the department of Neurosurgery. The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the execution of clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in gathering, compiling, and reporting data for a variety of research studies.
The highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Clinical Research Coordinator will support an NIH-sponsored project titled "3-D Tractography Focused Ultrasound Ablation for Essential Tremor" under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Krishna. The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator will play a key role in advancing this innovative neuroimaging and clinical research initiative by coordinating project activities, maintaining high-quality research standards, and supporting the dissemination of findings.
The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator will work closely with neurosurgeons, radiologists, data scientists, and research personnel in a collaborative team environment. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as demonstrated experience or interest in neuroimaging research and clinical data analysis.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience - Must be able to use considerable judgement and skills in performing work assignments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience - Prior experience with neuroimaging software (e.g., FSL, SPM, AFNI, FreeSurfer).
- Experience in human subjects research and IRB processes.
- Familiarity with data management tools such as REDCap or equivalent.
