As an Advanced CNC Machining Specialist, you will be responsible for operating complex machining centers and executing setups with precision. You'll handle tooling selection, fixture updates, and CNC Lathe programming to deliver products that align with customer specifications.

Your Core Responsibilities

Key Job Functions

• Execute setups on Star Swiss machines with medium complexity efficiently.
• Master the loading and operation of parts as dictated by the manufacturing plan.
• Monitor tool wear, perform tool changes, and ensure compliance with tool life protocols.
• Use mechanical gauges for part inspection and perform setup adjustments to meet QA standards.
• Understand and apply advanced GD&T principles consistently.
• Adhere to the shop's paper procedures and maintain lean manufacturing practices.
• Report job performance and communicate any deviations from standard times.

Your Path to Success

• Bring at least four years of experience in either a production or job shop setting.
• Experience with Epicor or similar manufacturing scheduling systems is advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in 4 and 5-axis machining.
• Proficiency with Swiss Star equipment is essential.

Technologies you will master:

• Operate high-precision CNC Swiss Lathes (Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
• Utilize advanced CAM software like Mastercam, Esprit, Mazatrol.
• Handle CNC Lathes with 5+ axes (Mazak).
